Five years ago, I received my first pair of Vivobarefoot shoes while attending a handstand and movement camp with Paradigm of Perfection and Lucy Movement. That moment completely shifted how I understood footwear—and ultimately changed the trajectory of my work and my purpose.

Until then, I hadn’t fully realized how deeply shoes influence posture, alignment, and the body’s ability to function properly. At age 22, I was diagnosed with herniated disc issues in my L4 and L5, which led me on a personal and scientific exploration of biomechanics even leading me to receive my National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification. Through research and lived experience, I traced much of my own breakdown to a weak foot foundation and years of postural compensation.

This sparked a fundamental change in how I moved, trained, and designed.

As I transitioned toward strengthening my feet and wearing natural footwear, I saw a direct correlation between improved foot function and the reduction of pain in my back. Experiencing this transformation firsthand revealed an undeniable truth: when the foundation is compromised, the entire body compensates. And when the foundation is restored, the entire body benefits.

That realization drives my mission today.

I am passionate about helping people reconnect to their natural abilities and experience a life of greater movement, freedom, and self-awareness. When the body feels like a cage, life begins to feel like one too. But rebuilding the foundation—the feet—can unlock mobility, confidence, and long-term resilience.

I am excited about the possibility of bringing this perspective to your team. With my multidisciplinary background in design, biomechanics, movement education, and human-centered thinking, I hope to contribute to products, insights, and experiences that empower people to move more freely and live more fully.

Thank you for considering my application.
